Abstract
Course syllabus for FIN 860 Financial Institutions
Course description: A detailed study of the total financial sector of the economy from the point of view of the individual institutions. The emphasis will be on the functions performed and the impact made on the economy. Institutions included are commercial banks, insurance companies, savings and loan associations, investment companies, finance companies, relevant governmental agencies and others. Students should have taken Problems of Financial Management.
