Abstract

Course syllabus for FIN 420 Advanced Corporate Finance

Course description: The Advanced Corporate Finance course is designed to apply financial management tools and techniques to the area of corporate finance and to the conceptual framework within which the financial decisions of a firm can be analyzed. Some specific topics discussed are: investing (corporate investing) in long-term assets, capital structure and dividend policy, working capital management, financial distress management, corporate governance, and applicable special topics in corporate financial management.
