Abstract
Course syllabus for HIST 544S History of Civil Rights
Course description: History of Civil Rights (Eyes on the Prize) is a comprehensive history of the people, the stories, the events, and the issues of the civil rights struggle in America. The course focuses on the period of American history from World War II to the present and includes print, video and audio instructional materials. The course takes on the point of view that the period of the contemporary Civil Rights Movement is one of the most significant in American history.
