Abstract
Course syllabus for MCOM 565 Broadcasting in America
Course description: This course will examine the development, structure, content and influences of the American broadcast media within both a global context and American society. In addition to examination of programming and technology, the course also affords the student close scrutiny of the economic and social consequences of broadcasting, the role of governmental regulation and the future of the electronic media.
