Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 433 Clinical Chemistry IV
Course description: This is the final in a series of four lectures in clinical chemistry. Clinical methods used to measure lipids, hormones, hormone metabolites, drugs of abuse, toxic substances and therapeutic drugs will be presented. Endocrine function, lipoprotein metabolism, drug effects, drug metabolism, and amniotic fluid analysis will also be discussed. Chromatographic and ultraviolet scanning techniques and immunological methods are included.
