Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 323 Clinical Laboratory Science: Microbiology I
Course description: This is the first course in a series of four clinical microbiology lecture courses. It is important for the Medical Technologist to comprehend certain physical and chemical characteristics of micro-organisms. This information will be applied to their recovery and identification. Organisms that will be emphasized in this course are the gram positive cocci, gram positive bacilli, and organisms that are primarily recovered from the upper respiratory tract.
