Course syllabus for MEDT 322 Clinical Laboratory Science: Chemistry I
Course description: This course is the first in a series of four (4) clinical chemistry lecture courses. Topics include: laboratory mathematics, quality assurance, basic laboratory statistics, reference intervals, spectral techniques, pH, buffers, electrochemistry and measurement of colligative properties. Carbohydrate metabolism is discussed from a physiological and analytical viewpoint.
