Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 332 Clinical Laboratory Science: Chemistry II
Course description: This course is the second in a series of four clinical chemistry lecture offerings. Topics include the biochemistry, analysis and clinical application of serum enzymes, proteins, amino acids, and important minerals. Blood gas and electrolyte data will be analyzed and correlated to physiological disturbances. In addition, the process of developing a new clinical procedure and the statistical techniques used to evaluate it will be presented.
