Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 422 Clinical Laboratory Science: Chemistry III
Course description: This course is the third in a series of four clinical chemistry lecture courses. Basic concepts of automation and common automated analyzes will be presented and compared. Methods used to select the appropriate analyzer will be discussed. Liver, kidney, pancreatic, and intestinal function will be presented from a biochemical and pathophysiological viewpoint.
