Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 47H/87H Independent Study: German Language and Culture
Course description: The course surveys the German language and culture. Students are exposed to the structure, vocabulary, grammar and uses of the German language within a unique cultural setting. Videotapes, books and additional printed material will be used to support the audiovisual method of language instruction. The use of short mini-culture units (to be handed out) will assist the student in learning about German culture and customs. Weekly quizzes and exams will give students a chance to test and practice their understanding of a new language and culture.
The course may be taken for credit,on a PASS/FAIL basis, or audited.
