Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 340 Production Management
Course description: American production management concepts and techniques will be studied at the strategic, tactical and operational levels. Topics will include production management practices and decision criteria, forecasting methods, product and process design project and resource requirement planning, facility location and capacity planning, job design and work measurements. All at the strategic and tactical level. In addition, operational issues such as materials requirement management, together with quality control, will be analyzed and studied.
