Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 360C & D Business Communications
Course description: This course is designed to help you become more effective in exchanging ideas and information through speaking, writing and listening. Since the majority of the students in the course are business majors, materials, ideas and assignments are designed for them. This is a course in business writing so language use is more conventional in form and formats are standardized. The conventions of written English - spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax and organization - will be emphasized. The course will focus on the various forms of business communication - letters, memoranda, written reports, messages, oral reports, visual aids, resumes and requests.
