Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 410 International Business
Course description: This course seeks to develop an understanding of the management of international business. The fact that international businesses operate in different nations means that they must operate within the context of varied national requirements and cultural expectations. The objective of this course is to investigate how these differences affect various aspects of managing multinational operations. In doing so, this course provides an introduction and overview of the economic, social, and political aspects of international business theory and practice. Further more, it provides a foundation for students who wish to acquire greater knowledge and expertise in this rapidly expanding field.
The course consists essentially of four components:
- Nature of International Business
- International Environment
- Foreign Environmental Forces
- Domestic Environmental Forces
