Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 810 Organizational Behavior in the Global Context
Course description: This course is about the study of behavior in organizations worldwide and a critical examination of theories for explaining organizational change and phenomena. In the last decades of the twentieth century, many organizations transcended geographic, economic, political, and cultural boundaries. Globalization of commerce will increase in the 21st century. As a result of globalization, it becomes increasingly important to understand how to manage culturally diverse, cross-cultural, and geographically dispersed organizations. In this course, students will study the behavior in organizations around the world through lecture, interactive discussions, exercises, and case studies.
