Abstract
Course syllabus for MGMT 865/864 Systems Thinking/Interdisciplinary Team Process
Course description: MGMT 865: Systems Thinking - Specifically this course will investigate foundational concepts and skills of systems thinking and learning organizations and how that affects the students approach to their work environment. MGMT 864: Interdisciplinary Team Process - This course will bring together graduate students from any discipline to learn effective communication and processing skills that will allow them to develop the understanding necessary for effective collaboration. This course will use communication and team building skills to demonstrate the value of interdisciplinary approaches. Such an interdisciplinary approach will show students effective techniques for valuing and educating client/customers, identifying and overcoming barriers to effective customer/client service, and leading to outcomes desired by the client/customer.
