Abstract
Course syllabus for NURS 806 Nursing and Health Care Policy
Course description: Examination of the phases of policy-making and the function that the legislative process contributes to this phenomenon. Analysis of the impact of biological, cultural, demographic, ecological, economic, ethical, psychological, social and technological factors on various phases of the policy-making process. Emphasizes the role and responsibility of the nursing profession in affecting policy activities in the health and human service areas.
