Course syllabus for NURS 306 Gerontological Nursing

Course description: Focuses on the theories, research and practice of nursing with aging adults. Explores physiological, psychological, social, spiritual and cultural factors related to health and aging. Emphasizes the nursing process with aging adults and examines community resources that assist older adults to remain in their communities. Explores the interdisciplinary nature of gerontological theory and practice.
