Course syllabus for NURS 83 Analysis of Theoretical Models in Gerontological Nursing

Course description: This course focuses on the analysis of theoretical models and their application in gerontological nursing. The status of research in the field is evaluated as well. The care of older clients with multiple and complex health care needs is evaluated, and students are provided with opportunities to act as advocates for client groups. Social policy formulation, its antecedents and consequences are analyzed.
