Abstract
Course syllabus for NURS 420 Care in Distributive Settings
Course description: This senior level nursing course focuses on the family, the community, public health, and nursing service directed to meet the needs of each of these entities. Faculty supervised clinical experiences are conducted through local community health nursing agencies and other varied community health settings. The roles and functions of the nurse in distributive settings are developed during home visits and other nursing situations. Concepts of adaptation, change, communication, role and others are emphasized within a systems framework.
