Abstract

Course syllabus for SOCW 444 Social Work Practice: Intervention Strategies I

Course description: This course utilizes a lecture/discussion mode for teaching and learning. It examines the approaches and strategies for providing a wide range of services at the small system level of individuals and families. Students will learn theory and basic techniques of interviewing. Students will learn goal development plus selection and application of methods of intervention within the context of the generalist mode.
