Abstract
Course syllabus for SOCW 445 Social Work Practice: Intervention Strategies II
Course description: This course which is the third one in the bsw practice sequence prepares the student for generalist social work practice by stressing the application of social work knowledge through increased skill development. There will also be a special focus on community practice and planned change strategies. Learning activities will include a number of self-assessment inventories which enable the student to focus on issues such as culture, gender, and values, and their impact on the worker/client system relationship.
