Abstract
Course syllabus for SOCW 459 Law for Human Services Professionals
Course description: Includes the study of legal issues, procedures, and selected legislation relevant to professional practice in the human services. Examines the use of legal authority in the provision of services in the areas of income maintenance, justice, child protection, family services, divorce counseling and other areas requiring knowledge of legal issues and processes.
