Abstract
Course syllabus for STAT 362 Statistics for Management II
Course description: This course provides students with a basic understanding of inferential statistics and its many applications to decision situations in business. The course is designed as a continuation of the topics covered in STAT 361. Topics covered include Hypothesis Testing, Design of Experiment, Analysis of Variance, Regression Analysis and Correlation, Time Series, and Nonparametric Statistics (including Chi-Square and other tests). The course is designed as an application-oriented course and the textbook contains applications of statistics and probability in both functional and general management. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with statistical computer packages (e.g., MINITAB, SPSS, DAYSAL-2, etc.)
