Abstract
Course syllabus for STAT 861 Computer Laboratory for Advanced Statistics
Course description: In this course, emphasis is placed on the application of statistical software as a tool to analyze behavioral research. Emphasis is placed on the organization, analysis, and interpretation of research data from the social sciences. Descriptive topics include: data organization, distribution characteristics, indices of central tendency, and variability. Inferential topics include t-tests, correlation and regression, analysis of variance, analysis of covariance, and multivariate ANOVA.
