Course syllabus for STAT 361B Statistics for Management I
Course description: This first course in statistics introduces students to the basic concepts of statistics and probability with special application to business situations. Topics covered include descriptive statistics, random variables, fundamentals of probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions, sampling and sampling distributions, point and interval estimation, and an overview of hypothesis testing.
