Course syllabus for STAT 361VA Statistics for Management I
Course description: Introduces the basic concepts of statistics and probability with special application to business situations. Covers the following topics: Descriptive statistics, random variables, fundamentals of probability, discrete and continuous probability distributions (including binomial, Poisson, and normal distributions), sampling and sampling distributions, and estimation (point and interval).
