Abstract
Course syllabus for STAT 362 Statistics for Management II
Course description: Topics for the second course in Statistics include a review of the topics in Statistics I (Sampling distributions and estimation and Hypothesis testing using one and two sample designs). Introduces students to the Chi-Square Technique, Analysis of Variance (One-Way ANOVA, Simple Regression Analysis and Multiple Regression and Correlation. The course is designed as an application-oriented course and the textbook contains several applications of statistics and probability in both functional and general management. Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with statistical computer packages (e.g., MINITAB, SPSS, DAYSAL-2, etc.)
