Brief History
A School of Health Sciences was established within the College of Environmental and Applied Sciences in 1975. In the fall of 1979, the School of Health Sciences was renamed the School of Health Professions and established as an autonomous academic unit. In 1982, Provost David Curtis changed the name of the School of Health Professions to College of Health Professions. As of July 1, 2008, the college was renamed the College of Health and Human Services.
