Abstract

Course syllabus for FIN 801 Problems in Financial Management

Course description: An analysis of the problems identified with the internal financial management of business firms through application of decision-making methods. Topics include internal and external aspects of business finance, resource allocation in relation to investment and financing process, theory and techniques applicable to capital budgeting and cost of capital, the impact of economic environment of financing and investment decisions. Students should have had a learning course in Financial Management or equivalent.
