Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 323 Clinical Microbiology I
Course description: This is the first in a series of clinical microbiology lecture courses. It is important for the Medical Technologist to comprehend certain physical and chemical characteristics of microorganisms. This information will be applied to the recovery and identification of these organisms. Emphasis will be placed on: the gram positive cocci, gram positive bacilli, gram negative bacilli (enteric and nonfermentative), acid-fast bacilli, and spirochetes.
