Abstract
Course syllabus for MEDT 423 Clinical Microbiology
Course description: This course is a continued study of the micro-organisms encountered in the clinical microbiology laboratory. Emphasis is on theoretical principles of the methods used for the isolation and identification of anaerobic bacteria, parasites, yeasts and fungi. The disease patterns produced by anaerobes parasites, yeasts and fungi groups are reviewed. Virology and serology will also be presented.
