Abstract
Course syllabus for SPED 860 Collaboration/Consultative Techniques for Special Educators
Course description: Provides training in consultation and collaboration skills emphasizing interactive teaming among special education and regular education school personnel and parents to enhance students with disabilities' academic and social performance. Includes skills in co-teaching, team teaching, inclusion, and conflict management. Focuses on interview, co-planning, and observation techniques, intervention plan development, and program evaluation. Fifteen (15) hours of field experience.
